Open House

We were lucky enough to be driving around town this weekend, with no clear direction, when we saw that there was an open house at Parker Flats on Fourth Street. As cold as it was outside, we were happy to find parking so close to the front door and go in to check the place out. I have to say that even though the condos are sort of on the small-ish side, each unit is filled with sunlight on the main floor with windows everywhere. It's great to see new construction that is not only beautiful, but so well designed. The realtor explained that there was an attention to detail on behalf of the builders, to make sure that every square foot served a purpose. The closets were refreshingly huge.

In the one staged unit we saw, I was blown away by the view........of the I-75 on-ramp. Normally, I wouldn't want to pay a mortgage on a view of the highway, but since an aspiring street artist had delicately spray painted the ramp with the words "mike=gay" in bright letters....it would be worth the escrow. I would love to wake up every morning and look out that window, wondering if Mike's ex boyfriend was trying to out him or if his ex girlfriend was trying to embarrass him. Either which way, if you see Mike, tell him someones thinking about him and that he apparently equals gay.
