Why we love joggers...

We decided to meet up today at First Watch downtown where the food is always fantastic, save for the extra dish on every plate that has pico de galo and fruit for some reason.......(if you remove the middle plate, you will see that First Watch uses the filler to skimp on the fried potatoes).
We were going to go to Newport to see a movie, but the weather was just too nice to sit inside a dark theatre when we could drive around downtown and take in some sites. We did the typical drive through Over the Rhine looking for more fresh graffiti and laughing per usual at the well placed billboards that say "no credit checks" and "safety first" right on hooker row. The working girls were out in full force today- we didn't see any transactions, but we did see something that inspired us to be a little creative.
We saw a random jogger that not only pounded the pavement and beat his chest at the same time, but he was dressed exactly like Rocky during the workout for the big boxing match. Down to the rolled up sweatpants and toboggan, the outfit was crisp.
We giggled as we watched him run by and we realized that we had "Eye of the Tiger" on my ipod. We pulled beside the jogger and at the right moment, we blasted the song as loud as possible. We followed behind slowly, giving our dude a personalized workout soundtrack. He actually laughed very hard and completely appreciated it.
Look for us at the flying pig. We'll be the ones with a boom box and megaphone screaming "risin' up.......".
